The NOVABETAFIX AG advanced dressing consists of an elastic cotton bandage with a non-stick pad that releases silver ions.

The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory function of the silver ions make NOVABETAFIX AG particularly suitable for AVFs and arteriovenous accesses intended for transfusions or other therapies.

The prolonged and controlled release of silver ions prevents the formation of eschar, reducing the risk of fistula exit-site infections while at the same time promoting re-epithelialization and tissue repair.
